Noble Casing Inc. is a premiere oil field service company that was founded in 2009 in Williston, ND by Chance Innis and Tobi Wold. Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs preventive maintenance services and inspects, diagnoses and repairs trucks and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

  • Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.

Job Detail:

The Business System Administrator will report directly to the VP of Business Systems and will be based out of the Williston North Dakota area.  This individual will provide initial support in the roll-out and training of our new Integrated Business System (IBS) in the North Dakota area (i.e. Casing, Drilling and Trucking operations), and then will provide ongoing support as required after roll-out to this region as well as other Noble locations as required.  The administrator will also serve as a back-up to the VP of Business Systems.  This individual will work with the VP of Business Systems and Noble management personnel in the identification and implementation of new technologies which enhances overall company profitability and differentiates us from our competitors in the markets we serve.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assists with the implementation of Noble’s Digital Transformation Strategy/IBS (i.e. LiquidFrameworks, Microsoft Business Central Software, etc.).
  • Trains employees, managers and executives in the use of Noble’s Internal Technology/IBS and 3rd party products.
  • Works with 3rd Party contractors in the deployment and training of new systems as required.
  • Maintains the accuracy and completeness of the user manual for Noble’s IBS Systems.
  • Ensures high uptime of Noble’s IBS by cooperatively working on system designs, equipment installations, equipment upgrades, user training, etc.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots and documents network issues which affect employee performance, and coordinates repairs with internal and/or external resources as required.
  • Gathers and analyzes user requirements, performs fit/gap analysis, and develops prototypes for eventual roll-out of upgrades and/or new systems.
  • Provides advanced technical troubleshooting for applications and database systems with emphasis on root cause analysis.
  • Assists in the translation of business requirements to technical solutions.

Education and/or Experience

  • Two-year technical certificate/degree from college or technical school in an IT related field; and/or 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience/knowledge in oilfield operations is preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good working knowledge of Office 365 Word Processing software.  The understanding of Google Doc’s, SalesForce.com, etc. is desired. Sysco and Microsoft Certifications are preferred.

  • Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
  • Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.

Scope of Work

Assists casing crew with all casing tasks. Works in team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely assist in rigging up
  • Safely unchains and gets the truck ready to unload
  • Remove hoses from truck to take to the rig floor, transports to floor safely
  • Installs danger tape where needed to define work zones and danger zones
  • Properly rig up the tail rope
  • Ensures work is clean and all hazards are recognized
  • Safely works V-door
  • Wears and understands the importance of safety vest
  • Safely assists in rigging down casing equipment
  • Properly rigs all tools for transport from walk to truck- pinch points and body
